The developmental disability waiver strives to help those suffering from developmental disabilities live sustainable lives, whether children or adults. This program further facilitates care within the individual’s home and offers an extensive plan of care that’s unique to the individual’s needs and the program level they are eligible for.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Individuals must meet the definition of developmental disability set by the Virginia Medicaid organization
• Individuals must be able to pass the functional criteria for the VA Individual Developmental Disability Eligibility Survey (VIDES) screening tool (Adult, Children, or Infant)
