Similar to the EDCD Waiver, the Technology Assisted Medicaid Waiver is dedicated to helping individuals stay within their choice of residence as opposed to a nursing facility while receiving care. But instead of the usual care programs, the TECH Waiver specifically focuses on the individual’s utilization of a medical device in their recovery.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Individuals must be a resident of Virginia and are qualified for Medicaid
• Individuals must possess the preference to stay at home or any other chosen residence that isn’t a nursing facility
• Individuals must be qualified for the financial eligibility criteria
